What We Do
Our goal is to be the “go to” site for timely news for Alaska’s seafood industry: fish catches, market trends, management changes, politics, research, the obscure – anything that impacts our fisheries, fishermen, processors and oceans.
Alaska Fish Radio is an independent production that airs Monday through Friday on 30 public and commercial radio stations, plus numerous websites. The program has been on the air since 2003 and continues to expand its coverage.
Alaska Fish Radio is listed as one of the top sources that industry professonals turn to for news and information they can trust.

Alaska Fish Factor is a syndicated weekly newspaper column that focuses on Alaska’s seafood industry. Siince 1991 the column has appeared in nearly two dozen Alaska newspapers/websites, nationally and in the UK.

We aim to make all Alaskans aware of the economic, social and cultural importance of Alaska’s seafood industry. We also hope to inspire more Alaskans to join the industry as harvesters, processors, scientists and managers.
